Robert Asman at Woodmere Art Museum

The above photograph by Bob Asman is included in the Recent Acquisitions in Photography exhibit at the Woodmere Art Museum. The 6x20 toned silver gelatin print, was made from a paper negative in 1988. It was purchased for the museum with funds provided by Laurence Salzmann. Woodmere’s concentration is on telling the story of Philadelphia’s Art and Artists.

In Good Company

Also included in the show are works by George Krause, Mary Ellen Mark, Ray K. Metzker and other photographers with connections to Philadelphia. 

Susan Bank donated her photograph,  Dairy Twirl,  included in the exhibition, in memory of Robert Asman.

The Recent Acquisitions exhibit is running concurrently along side The Photo Review Best of Show featuring the prize winners of the 2021 International Photography Competition. 


The Photo Review Best of Show will be up until 10/30/2022

Recent Acquisitions of Photography will be up until 03/05/2023
